If you qualify, the Federal Pell Grant can make a big difference in your search for funding. The Federal government provides eligible students with Federal Pell Grants of up to $4,500 per academic year to cover educational expenses.

Unlike student loans, you typically don't need to repay a Pell Grant unless your student status changes. As a student seeking your bachelor's degree online, you may qualify for a Pell Grant. There's no age limit for a Pell Grant and you can receive a Pell Grant attending part-time.

Eligibility Requirements for the Pell Grant
Your eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant depends on the income and asset information you submit on your FAFSA. If you are a dependent student, the FAFSA will require parent income and asset information. The Pell Grant amount you receive depends on your cost of education as well as your enrollment status.
